Ever amazing Thierry Bal is arguably UK’s most known artists‘ portraitist, so we worked together on the recent cover of Collectors Agenda, and realized the outcome may become a small show, My Garden Is Your Garden. The venue is fun: it’s this legendary Soho’s hairdressers, We Are Cuts (since 1979, now on Frith St), a small shop with a serious arts twist and quite a historical clientele such as David Bowie, Jean Paul Gaultier, Goldie, Boy George and Neneh Cherry to name a few. I do my hair there since 2004, and they do their artists friends’ shows a few times a year, so that was a match.

LADA Screens: Fyodor Pavlov-Andreevich
At LADA Fyodor Pavlov-Andreevich will present a talk and performance at the launch event, and be in conversation with Alex Eisenberg. The performance lecture, with its explicit references to the work of Carolee Schneeman, examines the role of artist in the institution space and the artistic presence in the space. Fyodor will also show a film featuring his performances Foundlings between 2015 and 2017. Completing the 5th episode of his most known guerrilla work at Met Gala in NYC, Fyodor was put in jail in the US.

PERFORMANCE TEMPORARY MONUMENT N0 AT GAZELLI ART HOUSE FEB 15
Fyodor's latest work Temporary Monument №0 that he performed at Gazelli Art House was calling attention to the tragic situation around gay people in Chechnya with many being tortured to death or missing. With this new work and a limited edition of photographic prints, Fyodor was trying to raise awareness and some funds in support of relocation assistance for gay individuals from the Russian Caucasus.
